Your responsibilities will include driving forward high-profile programmes and developing the City’s cultural offer, embedding arts, culture and heritage at the heart of our regeneration, economic growth and well-being ambitions. You will also galvanise joint working across the region, as well as influencing government and funding agencies to ensure our cultural scene is inclusive, sustainable and has the widest impact.
You will spearhead the transfer of our Royal Pavilion and Museums’ sites to a new charitable trust, leading on negotiations with relevant stakeholders and trade unions, as well as engaging with and supporting staff through this change.
Key to your success will be your experience, insight and foresight in the Arts and Culture sector and in delivering programmes of activity, including attracting funding from relevant agencies.
You will have a demonstrable track record of success in transformation and change management, including leading people through change and, ideally, of different delivery models e.g. charitable trusts.
In addition, you will be passionate about partnership-working and understand how Arts and Culture can contribute to the wider health and well-being of the City.
