Do you want the opportunity to train, learn and earn as an Apprentice?
Choosing an Apprenticeship gives you the opportunity to gain a nationally recognised qualification, have hands on experience in the workplace and earn a wage.
Vacancies on the programme are available throughout the County in a range of departments, throughout the year. Apprenticeships are available in Business and Administration, Childcare, Health & Social Care, Customer Service, Warehousing and ICT.
Whilst completing your qualification you will be supported fully by your tutor and a workplace mentor throughout the programme.
Apprenticeships take between 9 and 15 months to complete, during which time you will be able to apply for permanent roles within the County Council.
Apprenticeships are primarily available to young people aged 16-24 depending on eligibility.
Please note that a place on our Apprenticeship scheme is dependant on vacancies being available in your area, assessment and interview.
For further information about the programme please contact the KCC Apprenticeship team on 0800 098 8825 or email
Please ensure you complete the application fully and within the ‘Reason for application & other skills’ you tell us the reasons for applying to be an Apprentice and skills/experience you would bring to the role.
