Medway Council can offer you the opportunity to earn while you learn on our Apprenticeship Programme.

We offer Apprenticeships at either Level 2 or 3, so if you want to start building your career, an Apprenticeship Programme with Medway Council is the perfect way.

We will help you all the way with quality training and support from experienced Council staff.

You will have the chance to learn new skills, gain qualifications and earn a training allowance of either £95 (Level 2) or £100 (Level 3) per week. You will gain on the job experience, attend off the job training and work towards qualifications including an NVQ in the relevant subject area (e.g. Customer Service, Business Administration etc.) preparing you for the world of work.

Roles vary in our many different departments/service areas and apprenticeships are being offered throughout the organisation. Examples of up and coming placements are apprenticeships in Bereavement Services (Cremation Operator), Employ Medway (Administrator/Receptionist), Economic Development (Administrator), Green Spaces (Park Rangers), Building Control, Schools’ Personnel and Libraries to name a few.
