£125 per week first year, rising to £150 per week second year

Chorley Council, working with the Lancashire Football Association and Myerscough College have created a unique opportunity for an enthusiastic, passionate and committed young person/school leaver, to develop over a two year full time period as an Apprentice Leisure Activator (football).

The apprenticeship offers an unrivalled training package helping the right candidate to gain numerous qualifications in football, sport and wider recreation. Delivered by the Lancashire FA, Myerscough College and supported by Chorley Council.

The apprenticeship will be based within the Sport and Play Development team at Chorley Council, and will deliver in coaching, administration, supporting festivals and events, leadership and volunteer support, club, school and community development programmes.

So we want to hear from young people who have a passion for sport, football, and helping to increase participation in our national game, supporting Chorley’s proud history in local sport.
