CHILDREN IN CARE SERVICE Trafford’s Children and Young People’s Service brings together council and health services to improve outcomes for children, young people, their families and schools.We are looking for an experienced social worker to join our well-established and strongly-performing adoption team. If successful you will be responsible for working with adopters through the adoption process.
The successful candidate will:
carry a caseload of adopters.
be responsible for preparing Prospective Adopters Reports for the adoption panel.
contribute to the development of the team and Trafford’s adoption service.
be a qualified social worker, experienced in multi-agency working, with at least 2 years post qualifying experience of working in children’s services.
be an excellent communicator with a firm commitment to providing a high quality service to adopters and children.
Interviews are expected to take place w/c 03/05/2010.
