The successful applicant will provide comprehensive administrative support for the Planning and Building Control Service.
Duties will include:
- processing and progressing planning and building control applications
- general administrative support to the Planning and Building Control Service. This will include answering the telephone; providing clerical support to officers e.g. word processing, filing, photocopying, diary management, arranging meetings and assisting with the street naming and numbering of new buildings within the borough.
- reception work and telephone cover
Applicants must have a high level of literacy and numeracy. Excellent IT, organisational and customer care skills are essential. Applicants must be able to demonstrate a flexible approach to work when working as part of a team or on their own.
