Deputy Team Manager

Full-time: 37.5hrs a week

Grade: Band 7, SP 40-43: £36,960 – £39,621 with possibility of 6 extra increments, 4 for AMHP, 1 for practice teacher award and 1 for PQ1).

An opportunity to act as a Deputy Team Manager has become available in the Prison In-reach Services. The Deputy Team Manager will manage, co-ordinate and be accountable for the work of a multi-disciplinary Mental Health Team. This will mean responsibility for staff from both the Health Trust and Social Services. The post holder will need a thorough understanding of trust, social services, prison policies and criminal justice system.

This is an interesting and fast paced environment where you will gain experience in prison mental health care, forensic services and liaison and diversion services.

The ideal post holder will have relevant experience in Nursing, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Psychology and Psychiatry. In addition to this you will have completed a management course and hold relevant experience of managing staff in a community, hospital and prison setting.
