Family Recovery has proven to be a successful multi-agency intervention with families with multiple, complex problems. WCC now wishes to build on the project by developing specific elements of intervention for the families of young people on the edge of care and for families where members are involved in serious youth violence. We would welcome applications from workers who have worked with parents on improving their parenting skills and supporting changes in young people’s behaviour, with a particular focus on addressing the impact of serious youth violence and peer group impact leading to possible gang affiliation.
