Waltham Forest is one of the 5 Host Boroughs for the 2012 Games and is a 4 Star Council.

The 2012 Team is responsible for driving an exciting programme of Olympic legacy and Games Time projects built on the strong platform of the Better, Faster, Stronger 2012 Strategy and Action Plan. With just three years to the London 2012 Games themselves, the 2012 Team’s role is to ensure that the regeneration benefits to Waltham Forest in terms of access to employment, healthy lifestyles and improvement to the physical environment, before, during and after the Games are maximised. We are looking for committed, ambitious and innovative individuals to join the team to make our vision a reality. Reporting to the Head of 2012

Are you an experienced programme manager with excellent skills in the following areas: housing, environment and crime; education, employment and enterprise; or health, sports, leisure and culture? If you have a good understanding of the 2012 Games, are skilled in partnership working and securing inward investment opportunities and possess a good working knowledge of the policy arena of Multi-Area Agreements, then apply!
